Quarries are… such a BLAST!!!

Yesterday, September 1st 2022, nearly 500 bored holes at varying depths with appropriate charges were needed to effect the extent of this incredibly well-controlled explosion! In person, it sounded like an Army of 30.06 caliber deer-hunting rifles firing near simultaneously, while the ground beneath your feet tremors with a deep rumble. After the smoke clears, heaping tons of high-density limestone becomes available for extraction to the cutting facilities. Witnessing these events never gets old.
