This Old House Cambridge Project (2005)

NSVI’s first appearance on PBS’ well-known show This Old House takes them to Cambridge, Massachusetts where they add natural thin stone veneer to a Frank Lloyd Wright residential renovation. The sleek lines of the house called for a contemporary look which only Virginia Ledgestone can provide. Applied with a tight-fit (aka “dry stack”) method, the masons turn a plain concrete wall into a beautiful stone sculpture.  The warm tones of this ledgestone add to the earthy exterior of stucco and natural wood.
